Figure Study modeling Try to avoid wearing anything tight which will leave lines on your skin for an hour or so before the shoot otherwise the photographer will have to wait for the lines to fade. Arrive on Time or a few minutes early No one likes to stand around wondering if someone is going to show up. Arrive ready to work, the photographer will expect you to be ready in 5 or 10 minutes. How to relax Standing in front of the Camera looking gorgeous can be nerve-wracking for anyone. To relax your face muscles, shut your eyes tight, open your mouth really wide, and wiggle your nose ,stick your tongue out. You may look silly for a few moments but the photographer won’t notice (or may have a laugh with you) and the next picture may be the fabulous one.
Forget the photographer, concentrate on the Camera, and pretend it’s a Guy or Girl you’re trying to impress.
Like the song says -Don’t worry, be happy Be your own Boss Remind the photographer you need a break, they can get so wound up in what’s happening they forget the time. If you are asked to hold a pose too long remind the photographer that you are not Superwomen or Superman. Have some patience During workshops, The photographers you will be working with vary in photographic skill and people sensitivity. If they are constantly fiddling with equipment or trying to think up poses, be patient, they may be inexperienced but the world’s best were all nervous when they started. If you can suggest some poses you would like to do. Â Â
